Do you love independent kid-accessible graphic novel stories that start in the real world and jump suddenly into strange dimensions? And do you live in — or nearby — Cape Cod? Then this hot tip will make your day: I’ll be tabling at this year’s CODCon!
CODCon is a free all-ages comics convention hosted by the Hyannis Public Library, complete with panels, workshops, artists, vendors, and cosplay (perhaps of particular interest to those already planning to dress up on May 4th!).
CODCon is on Sunday May 4 from 10:00 am to 4:00 pm, and spread out across two locations in downtown Hyannis: at the Cordial Eye Gallery, where I’ll be (438 Main St., Hyannis MA 02601) and across the street at the Hyannis Public Library (428 Main St., Hyannis MA 02601).
Here’s the official site link, if you’d like to see more: https://hyannislibrary.org/event/the-2nd-annual-codcon/.
What’s more, for anyone aching to know what happens after the cliffhanger in ULTRASTELLAR, BOOK 1: ESCAPE, I made a black & white minicomic for last year’s MICE called ULTRASTELLAR, CHAPTER 5A: THE ESCAPE AGENT! It tells the start of the next chapter… and I’ll bring my remaining copies for sale. Come to the con, check it out, support small press and say hello!
